Windshield Protection Film
Protective Film Solutions now offers WINDSHIELD PROTECTION FILM

Windshield Protection Film, manufactured by Proline, is the first and only optically clear protection film for vehicle windshields. It helps protect against pitting, cracks and expensive glass replacement ... and keeps you safer.* Protective Film Solutions is proud to be the exclusive distributor and installer of Proline Windshield Protection Film in Arizona.

Benefits of the Windshield Protection Film:
  • Protects against scratches, pitting and bull's eyes, plus everyday abrasions such as windshield wipers
  • UV- and heat-reducing
  • Helps hold shattered glass in place
  • Faster run-off of rain and other elements for better visibility
  • Helps preserve your vehicle's resell value if you still have the original factory glass
  • Reduce frequent and/or expensive glass replacement. Even if you have glass coverage, many insurance companies limit coverage to one free replacement per year. Some are starting to make glass coverage a comprehensive deductible.

Who should get Windshield Protection Film?
  • Owners of vehicles with expensive windshields, no glass coverage or high deductibles
  • Those who race vehicles professionally or recreationally
  • High-end car leasing companies

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Proline's Windshield Protection Film from PFS:

About the Film
Unlike glass, the film is designed to just show a little dimple where the impact occurred. The film is 4.5 mils thick, enough to absorb everyday road debris. (As a point of reference, window tint is 1.5 mils, and our 3M clear bra is 8 mils.)

Our film is cut, shrunk and 3D-molded to the shape of your windshield when we order it. Why not use raw film and custom cut it? Without pre-shrunk, pre-cut film, an installer has to use raw film and shrink it to fit on your windshield, usually causing distortions. And there is no way to cut the film without scratching the glass because the film is very rigid and tough.

Installation
The film must be installed by a trained installer due to the nature of the film and installation difficulty. It takes only an hour.

Cost
Cost varies by windshield size and shape. It's not expensive if you compare film cost versus windshield replacement.

Removal
You can use a small object to lift a corner and slowly peel back the film. Once removed, it cannot be reapplied.

Replacement
The film must be replaced if there is too much pitting or damage in the driver's line of sight.

Warranty
A two-year warranty against manufacturer's defects covers peeling, bubbling, cracking or yellowing of the film. It is valid only if the film is installed by a trained professional. The warranty does not cover damage caused by projectile contact—either to the film or to the glass. View our Film Warranty Information here.

* PLEASE NOTE: The film is meant to be an extra layer of protection. It is not guaranteed to stop all projectiles from cracking your windshield due to their speed, size or sharpness.
